You can browse our online catalog either as a guest or you can login to your account.
As a guest, simply click on the link above and search away! The individual items have green "In" and red "Out" buttons to let you know if an item is in the library or not. White buttons with an e or sound bars in the middle indicate that those items are available through Libby/Overdrive (see below for more information on that).
As a Wilson Public Library cardholder, you need to know your username & password in order to login on the upper right hand corner. If you do not know this information, please call us at 308-784-2019. It is easier to login first and then search, as logging in enables all special features.
Once logged in, you can hold an item for later checkout by clicking the blue Hold next to the bottom of each item's image. You can only hold an item if you are logged in. If the item is currently OUT and you put it on hold, you will be added to the wait list. We will call you when it becomes available. If the item is currently IN and you put it on hold, staff will pull the hold and put it at the front desk for you to pick up within a week. You will not be called for IN items put on hold.
You may also select MY STUFF when logged in. There, view currently checked out items or your checkout history, current holds, items marked as favorites, or any fines.
As long as an item is not overdue nor due you have any fines, items may be renewed online once logged in. Under MY STUFF, click on CHCKOUTS, then click on the 3 blue dots in the bottom right-hand corner of the item you wish to renew and click RENEW. Patrons may renew twice online for most items or once for DVDs, puppets, backpacks, and cakepans. Overdue items cannot be renewed online.

Patrons can check out audiobooks, eBooks and magazines for your computer and smart devices by using either the free Nebraska Overdrive website or the very user-friendly Libby app. Checking out is a free service of the Wilson Public Library for local users and requires your library card number and a library-specific password. Wilson Public Library is part of a state-wide consortium; there may be wait times as these titles are one-user only and we share the database with many other Nebraska libraries, although we do own some of our own titles within the database as well. There is a large selection of children, youth, and adult titles in both e-book and audiobook format. If you click on our catalog, it is integrated with Nebraska Overdrive so that you can see our physical titles as well as e-books and downloadable audiobooks. Logging into our catalog is a little different than logging into the Nebraska Overdrive website. Call us at 308-784-2019 if you need help.
Please ask the front desk for the password, but be prepared to give staff your name and library card number for verification. Our phone number is 784-2019. Check the Overdrive Device Resource Centerfor more compatibility information. Instructional sheets for the Libby app are available at the front desk to guide you through how to use or click here to Take a tour to learn how to Download Digital Books and More!
