Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska is a non-profit agency established in 1965 as a part of Lyndon B. Johnson’s “War on Poverty” which worked to develop positive solutions to poverty. Community Action works to alleviate poverty conditions and enhance economic, education, health, housing, nutrition, and transportation resources. Throughout its history, the agency has established solid programs that benefit the entire community. Head Start, WIC, Weatherization, Commodity Supplemental Food Program, transportation, immunization clinics, Food Bank, case management, affordable housing, and senior centers are the major programs that it operates.

 The website features updated fuel economy data for new and used passenger vehicles dating back to 1984, allows side-by-side vehicle comparisons, and offers fuel-saving tips.  Tom White is the sculptor who created the portrait bronze sculpture scene of Judy Svajgr that is in the main section of the Wilson Public Library. The scene is called "A Heritage of Love & Learning" and we are so lucky to have this at the library.
